I am seriously at a lack of ideas for blog-writing. So today, I'll talk about something I have only started doing, working out.
I gotta say, working out consistently has been one of my long-time goals. I remember last summer I started working out everyday, but that only lasted for 11 days. It was interrupted because I had to go to a camp. After that, I never found the determination to start working out. I would suddenly work out one day but those days only came once a month, maybe even less.
One of these days happened during quarantine. But it wasn't like the others. I kept working out. I don't know why I kept a routine on during quarantine but not during any other time. Perhaps it was because online school gave me a lot more time to do things I wanted to do.
Either way, I started working out. I adjusted my work out based on things that I saw on youtube.
For the first month I only focused on upper body. Only now am I starting to do lower body. Of course during this time period I also have been going on the occasional jog or walk.
The only muscles right now that I know about are the bicep, the tricep, the deltoid, the forearm, back, core, and chest. Of course those aren't the scientific names of them, but that's what I know. I try to do exercises for each of them. I do bicep curls for my bicep. For my tricep I do tricep dips. For my forearms I do forearm curls and the same with my back forearm. I know that a lot of these might not even be words. A lot of these might not even be exercises, I made up a lot of names. Well needless to say, I do exercises for each of these muscles. Now I am also starting to do jumping jacks to work on my calves, lunges, and squats. I'm not quite sure which muscles squats and lunges exercise, I think perhaps my quadriceps. Maybe my hamstrings.
I've also asked myself why I'm working out. I'm pretty sure it's not because I want to impress others, but that is a nice side effect. I think it's just because I want to see myself grow stronger. I want to be able to do certain things as landmarks. I want to feel as if I've achieved something. I think.
Anyways thanks for reading!
