Corona in the USA

It's funny now that I look back. When I first started writing blogs, I wrote about what ever was on the news, or whatever was easiest. Then it became random. It talked about cooked chicken, stye, and tea. Now it's just focused on political news or anything that is trending now. I feel like a bandwagoner.
If you aren't familiar with the term, bandwagon is a term referring to anything that is currently trending or fashionable. A bandwagoner, or someone who jumps on the bandwagon, refers to someone who is only following a specific topic because it is trending.
Today I'm not going to talk about the statistics for corona, but rather our response to it.
As everyone probably knows, Trump didn't handle corona that well. On many occasions he didn't wear a mask, even when others around him wanted him to. He conveyed the message that corona wasn't a real threat to many of his supporters. I'm guessing that he was a big reason, or at least influenced the way some people are dealing with corona. But now, even after Trump has started wearing a mask, corona counts aren't going down.
Trump definitely handled this so very terribly. There are so many things that he could've done which would probably result in much lower corona counts. If he had done a few things differently, the first 5 months of school wouldn't be remote. But at the end of the day, he has started handling this better, yet people aren't.
This is what annoys me. Many people hang out in groups, and I see this. Just a week ago, when I went hiking, I walked past a group of at least 20 people. Whenever I go to the park, I see groups of people talking with each other.
What annoys me even more is that some of the people that hang out with each other without wearing masks and social distancing are people that consider themselves "woke". They are people that have been criticizing what our executive branch has done during this pandemic, but they aren't even helping it themselves. They probably think that their friends won't have corona, so it's safe to hang out with them, but that's what everyone thinks. Everyone gives exceptions to themselves. They think that although there has been about 4.5 million cases in the United States, meaning that 1 in every 70 people has corona, they still think that their friends and themselves most likely won't have corona.
Some of these people continue to criticize what Trump has done, while not even aiding in the problem themselves.
During this pandemic, I've been doing my duty as a citizen during a pandemic, I have reduced physical contact with people. Most of the time I stay in my home and do things there. If I have to leave the house, I still try to remain at least 6 feet away from other people.

Thanks for reading today's blog.

Being Short

Being short sucks doesn't it? Every time you talk to your peers you have to look up. It hurts the neck. Doesn't it suck walking through a bunch of people and only seeing the back of the person in front of you, not what's up ahead?  Don't you hate it when you really like to play basketball but you're short, making it so that you can't get some rebounds or shoot some shots that you could make if you were taller? You have to take more effort on getting space between you and the defender when you could just shoot the ball from wherever if you were taller.  Being tall gives you more confidence. You can appear more attractive. By social norms, the boyfriend should be taller than the girlfriend. That kind of sucks, because when you're short there are very few that are shorter than you. That's my rant! I am Albert Einstein.

Muscles and Working Out

I am seriously at a lack of ideas for blog-writing. So today, I'll talk about something I have only started doing, working out. I gotta say, working out consistently has been one of my long-time goals. I remember last summer I started working out everyday, but that only lasted for 11 days. It was interrupted because I had to go to a camp. After that, I never found the determination to start working out. I would suddenly work out one day but those days only came once a month, maybe even less. One of these days happened during quarantine. But it wasn't like the others. I kept working out. I don't know why I kept a routine on during quarantine but not during any other time. Perhaps it was because online school gave me a lot more time to do things I wanted to do. Either way, I started working out. I adjusted my work out based on things that I saw on youtube. For the first month I only focused on upper body. Only now am I starting to do lower body. Of course during this time...

Current Stuff

Some interesting stuff has happened recently. Mainly one. There's a teen in Kenosha, Wisconsin. More accurately, he drove to Kenosha Wisconsin, then proceeded to shoot and kill two BLM protesters. Here's what happened, based on what I know. He drove over from his house with an assault rifle. He was treated as a friend by police and was given water, probably because he was one of the few who actually supported them there. They saw him with an assault rifle. He then killed two people. The police of course heard this, but didn't act on it. He then walked back into his car and drove home. Now he's facing charges and a ton of backlash. I know this will also impact his college. What I just don't know is how people are supporting someone like this. His name is Kyle Rittenhouse. He wasn't even defending himself. He doesn't live there. He drove in from his own house to  Kenosha and shot two people. Tucker Carlson and Steven Crowder have actively defended him. Carl...
