I'll talk about somethings that I have thought about before, all relating to the outcomes of World War II.
1. Would the US have joined the allied forces even if Japan hadn't attacked Pearl Harbor?
I'm not quite sure about this question, and I think the question is yes. I've heard a theory that said FDR purposefully had Pearl Harbor open for attack. He wanted to go to war, but he needed a reason. Pearl Harbor was a good reason, as the vote to declare war was unanimous. It seemed like a coincident that all the aircraft carriers that were normally stationed in Pearl Harbor weren't there. Either it was incredible luck on the US' part, or it was planned. Even if Pearl Harbor never got attacked, the US would still eventually go to war.
2. What would've happened in the Axis force happened to win?
This may be very unlikely, but I'm just thinking. This means that the entire world was under the power of Germany, Italy, and Japan. There would probably be disputes about the land that they receive. What would they do with prisoners of war? South America and most of Africa weren't part of the war. Hitler supported globalism. It would be very unlikely that he would write a treaty or negotiate peace with these continents that pose no threat to him. Those two would soon come under the rule of the Axis powers. I'm not quite sure what the Axis forces would to to the American citizens, but I know that the Japanese would probably not treat the Chinese well, considering what they did in North-east China. Switzerland traded with Nazi Germany during WWII, so Hitler would probably keep it that way. It would be unwise to cease trade with a country and spend money and troops to invade it. Germany would run the world as a dictatorship with Italy and Japan. Italy is the weakest of the three so it would be natural if they weren't given that much power. I'm not sure what would happen between Japan and Hitler. Perhaps they start another war between themselves, or they somehow negotiate peacefully and coexist peacefully.
Well that's it for the speculations.
Have a great day.

True, I guess one reason they failed was because they showed no leniency towards the people they conquer, leaving them no choice but to fight.
